B.H.M. Medical Inc., founded in 1991, is located in Magog,
Canada.
It is specialised in the research , development and
manufacturing of various types of patient lifters, slings and
related accessories. Products include floor, tub and ceiling
lifts.
Wholly owned by three experienced and actively involved business
partners, the corporate philosophy is to offer high quality,
reliable products which contribute towards reducing back injuries
and accidents for care givers while increasing the patients
comfort.
Targeted market includes both the institutional market as well
as the private market. Currently exporting in European,
Germany, Australia, U.S., Japan and U.K. markets. Have
resources available and ready to exploit new foreign markets.
Arabia and the rest of Europe are the main focus areas and
Mexico is also of interest.
Interested in strategic alliances, finding new distributors, or
manufacturing product under private brand name for foreign
companies interested in increasing their line of products.
Products are sold through a network of distributors covering all
of Canada and part of Europe. The company is recognized as the
major manufacturer of fixed ceiling lifts throughout the
Canadian market.
Currently implementing the ISO-9001 quality standard, BHM's
products currently meet Canadian, European and American
standards.
Actively involved in several medical and other associations
including the Canadian Council for Competitiveness, the ``AQFIM``
Association of medical industry manufacturers, the local and
regional Chamber of Commerce. Also involved in several medical
related committees and work very closely with ``ASSTSAS``
Association for health and safety, social affairs. The company
also recently, in May 1996, won the most prestigious award
offered to a company on a provincial, state basis; category of
research and development.
