Founded in 1972, CVDS had its start on the design of an automatic message accounting system and rail yard communication systems for CP Rail, formerly CNCP Canadian National Canadian Pacific.

Comlog-cr
The ComLog-CR is a new generation of computer-based digital audio recording system. It is especially well-suited for Court Room hearings, meetings and similar environments.
The ComLog-CR system consists of a professional quality hardware mixer and recording software. The hardware mixer integrates in a single box the microphones preamplifiers and telephone interfaces, thus greatly simplifying connections. The hardware mixer is connected to a notebook or desktop PC, where the actual recording will take place, using a Firewire interface.
The ComLog-CR software application is ideal for recording legal depositions, hearings, tribunals, meetings and conferences from any location, both on and off site. It offers a simple Graphical User Interface (GUI) to unleash its high quality digital sound recording and playback technology. It also has intelligent search parameters for instant file or case retrieval, advanced tags and annotation capabilities, encrypted security and password protection. Up to seven channels can be recorded independently.
