Description:
Campbell's Pheasantry has been raising pheasants since 1976 and
now in our 26th year we continue our dedication to attain the
wildest tasting farm raised pheasant on the market. We are the
largest producer of free-range pheasant in Western Canada.
Breeding, incubating and hatching, brooding of chicks and
growing out of birds in flight pens is all done on our farm.
Growing the birds outdoors in flight pens produces a fuller
textured bird that s gamier tasting, less-fatty and finer
finished than barn raised pheasants. The birds are fed
non-medicated feeds that contain no antibiotics or growth
hormones of any kind.
Each bird is individually hand picked for finish before it is
sent out to process. Processing occurs in federally inspected
plants under strict guidelines and held in federally inspected
cold storage.
Pheasant meat is high in protein and low in fat, great for
calorie counters and cholesterol watchers. As pheasant is the
only game bird we produce all our energies are directed toward
producing a premium grade high quality product that is weight
specific to your needs each and every time.
