Description:
Ceramic Protection Corporation, (CPC) manufactures and markets
custom structural ceramic products with a focus on providing
integrated solutions for customers in the area of abrasion
resistance, corrosive environments, impact resistance and thermal
shock applications.
CPC's primary products are ceramic personal body armour plates of
various shapes and sizes, pressed armour and wear tile in
4`` x4`` and 6`` x 8`` sizes, composite manufacture of ballistic
armour and a wide range of ceramic wear products used in
applications where abrasion resistance is required. CPC's
current armour materials and products have been accepted in the
armour ceramic industry and have recently been selected for the
General Motors LAV project for the Canadian Army. CPC possesses
in-house ballistic testing for development, evaluation and design
of armour systems.
CPC's wear products are currently in service around the world in
severe environments in mining, power generation and materials
processing where they increase time between shut-downs and save
costly replacement of machinery subject to extreme wear.
