Description:
For more than 20 years, F&R Steelcraft Industries Inc. has specialized in:
- cryogenic vessels and equipment (steel / stainless steel / aluminum);
- metal fabrication (as above, plus copper / brass / galvanized metal) including milling, lathe work, welding, etc.; and
- highway trailer (inspection / certification and repair).
In the cryogenic arena, the Company holds an Alberta Boilers Safety Association (ABSA) Certificate of Authorization to:
- inspect / certify, repair / alter and construct pressure vessels in the shop (ASME Section VIII-1); and/or
- construct, repair / alter ASME B31.1 and B31.3 pressure piping in the shop and field.
Such work invariably requires the use of 'B' Pressure welding skills by our employees and F&R has become a leading facility for the provision of complete cryogenic services to a variety of industries, including:
- industrial gas suppliers;
- oil and gas (producers and service providers, alike);
- chemical producers
- health care; and
- food services.
Other Corporate qualifications include:
- Transport Canada Certificate of Registration (as a facility for the manufacture, modification, assembly, repair, test / retest or inspection of highway tanks and portable tanks in accordance with CSA Standard B620;
- Federal Department of Transport (MV Safety Act Sec 4(2), MV Safety Regulations Sec 3(4) and Ministerial Authorization; as well as
- Commercial Vehicle Inspection (Alberta) --- 'CVIP'.
To ensure that clients receive supperior quality service and products, the Company has designed and implemented a registered Quality Program and all activities are executed in accordance with the applicable codes (above and ASME Nondestructive Examinations Sec V).
