Established in 1997, Midwestern School of Business & Technology
is a private vocational school, associated with Productivity
Point International (Winnipeg), with independent providers of
instructor-led training in North America with over one million
computer trained students.
The school has the capacity and flexibility to adapt and develop
courses tailored to the identified needs of individual groups
within the community. Currently the following programs are
offered:
- Information Technology Professional Program (ITP);
- Network Engineering Professional Program (NEP);
- Information Office Professional (IOP);
- Computer Programming
- Year 2000 Programming Course.
Midwestern School of Business & Technology (and its associated
company, Productivity Point International) is the only private
vocational school in Manitoba that has the status of being a
Microsoft Authorized Academic Training Program (AATP), an
Authorized Technical Education Centre (ATEC), a Microsoft
Solution Provider and an Authorized Sylvan Prometric Testing
Centre. Program delivery integrates in-class instruction using
discovery learning techniques, real life simulations, and career
enhancement skills featuring cooperative placement. Actual
delivery of the programs consists of on-site instruction,
correspondence work, and distance education.
