Description:
The Bau-Val Group, a Canadian company founded four decades ago,
specializes in the manufacture of aggregates, materials and
concrete.
In the 70's and 80's, The Bau-Val Group consolidated its
regional presence by acquiring sand and gravel pits, crush stone
quarries of high quality aggregates and asphalt plants.
Bau-Val reaped its first success in the planning and execution
of megaprojects, such as the construction of some of Quebec's
major highways. The company also participated in the
construction of the Expo 67 site. In 1986, Bau-Val positioned
itself to meet the needs of the future and created its Tech-Mix
division. Its mission is to develop, manufacture and market
innovative, high-performance road maintenance products that have
been tested in laboratories and the real world.
Today, Tech-Mix manufactures four road maintenance products to
the highest standards of quality and reliability:
- TOP-MIX, a convenient long-life high-performance cold patch
asphalt
- Logik-Mix, a cold patch asphalt for summer road maintenance.
- Seal-Mix, a hot-poured mortar for cracks and joints
- Rpar-Mix, fast setting mortar for repairing concrete surfaces

high-performance ingredients such as special waterproof fillers,
asphalt polymers and sand.

Repar-mix Fast Setting Mortar
REPAR-MIX is a fast-setting mortar for repairing concrete
surfaces. REPAR-MIX is a stable blend of cement, high
performance aggregates and other additives. Requiring only the
addition of water, REPAR-MIX is applied like conventional
concrete. It hardens and dries quickly.

Logik-mix Summer Cold Mix Asphalt
Logik-Mix is a Cold Patch Asphalt for summer repairs. Logik-Mix
uses include:
- Resurfacing cracked surfaces and trenches
- Rut grading
- Settling around manhole covers and drainage ditches
- Very wide transverse and longitudinal cracks
- on large or small surfaces, preferably with a shoulder
