Description:
VON is a non-profit, charitable organization providing Health (Homecare) and Community Support services to London, Middlesex and Elgin Counties.
HOMECARE services are provided for priavate pay and as a contracted agency to the Community Care Access Centers of Elgin and London-Middlesex. These services include Visiting Nursing, Palliative Care, I.V. Therapy, Shift Nursing, Home & Personal Support among others. VON also provides Occupational Health programs, Flu, wellness and Foot Care clinics.
Community Support programs are non-clinical services that enable individulas to remain in their own homes. The services include Meals on Wheels, Adult Day Programs, Transportation, Palliative Care Visiting Program, Volunteer Visiting, Alzheimer and Caregiver support, etc. Services are specific to areas within Middlesex-Elgin, call for details. These services are delivered by our volunteer base of over 2100.
VON also provides supports for the developmentaly disabled: Family Home and Special Services At Home, and Respite.
