VSM MedTech Ltd. designs, manufactures and markets complete magnetoencephalography (MEG) brain imaging systems and proprietary MEG software. Medical applications of VSM's technology include the localization of epileptic spikes prior to epilepsy surgery, brain mapping prior to tumor surgery. Emerging applications of MEG include Alzheimers disease, Parkinson's disease and psychiatric disorders.
VSM MedTech also manufactures the BpTRU line of highly accurate, automated blood pressure devices for the management of hypertension in primary and acute-care environments.
In 2001, VSM MedTech acquired CTF Systems Inc., which was founded in 1970 by a group of professionals with backgrounds in physics and electronic engineering. Since this acquisition, the Company has become enjoyed steady growth and has captured the largest share of the global MEG market.
VSM MedTech Ltd. headquarters are presently located in Coquitlam, BC, just east of Vancouver.
